We're Here To Help You...

In our first sessions we’ll take time to get to know each other and build a foundation of trust. My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported.

If you’re struggling with something urgent such as intense anxiety, we may begin with simple grounding exercises to help you feel calmer before we move into deeper work.

As therapy continues I’ll listen closely and work side by side with you to notice patterns that are serving you and those that may be keeping you stuck. I don’t just listen, I also share practical, research-based strategies you can begin using right away. Over the years I’ve trained in many evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused and Sex Therapy.

True growth comes from reflection and gentle accountability. Sometimes that means I’ll encourage you to look at what’s getting in the way of the changes you want to make, always with compassion and care.

Therapy moves at your pace. If you’re not ready, that’s completely okay. I’ll be patient with you, and I’ll help you learn to be patient with yourself too. At the same time I’ll support you in finding small, realistic steps that feel doable and still move you closer to your goals.

My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, to walk alongside you, and to help you find a sense of clarity, confidence, and peace in your life.

If you’d like to explore whether therapy is right for you, call 310-600-9912 for a free 15-minute consultation.

It’s natural to wonder how long therapy will take, but the truth is I can’t give you an exact answer before we’ve had a chance to do our initial work together. The length of therapy depends on many factors, including the nature of your concerns, how long you’ve been experiencing them, your level of motivation, and whether other challenges are also present.

While I am trained to provide in-depth, ongoing therapeutic support, many people choose to work with me on a specific issue. Research shows that uncomplicated, mild-to-moderate concerns can often improve within 10 to 20 sessions. After we’ve started, I’ll give you a clearer sense of what may be most helpful for your unique situation.

I have many years of clinical experience and over eleven years of post-bachelor training, but the most important part of therapy is how you and I connect. That’s why I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so you can get a sense of my style and see if it feels like a good fit. If not, I’ll be happy to connect you with other trusted therapists in the community.
My fee is $350 for a 50-minute session. This reflects my many years of specialized training, extensive post-graduate education, and the success I’ve had in helping clients create meaningful and lasting change. At this time, I do not offer a sliding scale or discounts.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means you pay for your session at the time of your appointment. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. After each session, if you’d like, I’ll provide a detailed invoice that includes all the necessary information that you can submit to your insurance company.

It’s important to know that when you use insurance, companies often require a formal mental health diagnosis and sometimes request access to your records in order to determine coverage. For this reason, many clients choose to pay privately to keep their therapy completely confidential. Private pay allows us to focus on your goals without being limited by the requirements of an insurance company.

If you’re not sure about your specific coverage, I recommend calling your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
